Job summary

Stantec seeks an Owner’s Representative, Project Director to oversee the design and construction of multiple projects ranging from conceptual planning to occupancy. Projects vary by sector and complexity with total costs from several million to over $300 million.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in design and construction.
• Project management experience on large capital projects.
• Ability to analyze and manage project budget.
• Understanding of preconstruction/project development processes.
• Understanding of contracts (negotiations, language, requirements).
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong computer skills in scheduling, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects valued at $25M-$300M, including renovations and new builds.
• Direct 25–50 project team members and coordinate across disciplines.
• Foster a diverse, collaborative project culture and align with client goals.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and profitability; present to clients and executives.
• Communicate project scope, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual requirements.
