Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Owner’s Representative, Project Director to oversee design and construction across multiple projects ranging from conceptual planning to occupancy. Projects span $25m-$300m with diverse sectors and complexity, and you will lead teams while reporting to the client with executive oversight when needed.

The role requires proven PM leadership on large capital projects, strong budget and contract knowledge, and experience guiding teams through preconstruction to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10 years’ experience managing large capital projects.
• Professional registration or certifications a plus.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage budgets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of multiple projects valued at $25m-$300m, renovations and new builds.
• Directly managing activities of up to 25-50 project team members.
• Communicate goals, constraints, and priorities to the project team.
• Monitor profitability & fee utilization against contract value.
• Present budgets, schedules, and events to clients and executives.
• Ensure project objectives are met and maintain client confidence.
• Lead client accounts with autonomous project direction.
