Job summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer, and cost critical power construction projects in an on-site Alabama location.

You will lead design efforts, engage clients and vendors, and guide sales and estimating teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions. The role requires a BS in engineering, knowledge of DC/AC power systems, and experience with construction projects.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with critical power systems and project management.
• Knowledge of cooling, control, switchgear, and generator systems.
• Ability to document and present design concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Quote and execute field projects in critical facilities.
• Coach team members in technical matters and refine tools.
• Develop strategies to execute projects and manage changes.
• Read RFQs/SOWs and guide solution estimates.
• Work with customers to determine requirements and cost-effective recommendations.
• Ensure safety and quality during construction and close-out.
