EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer and cost critical power construction projects. You will oversee design deliverables, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include guiding estimators and project managers, improving tools, and supporting the sales team with pricing and proposals. A strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering and critical power is required.

Competenze

• BS degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred) or similar technical field from an accredited university.
• Experience in critical power including protected DC power and AC power systems.
• Basic understanding of cooling systems, control systems, AC switch gear, and generator systems.
• Experience in project management and operations culture.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgets and engineering economic calculations.
• Ability to create, document, and present design concepts to customers and operations.
• Experience working with professional engineers and architects.
• Familiarity with construction techniques and able to apply them to design solutions.

Mansioni

• Quote and execute successful field projects within critical facilities environment including oversight and direction of design and estimation deliverables.
• Coach team members in technical matters and develop tools to improve efficiency.
• Generate, read, interpret RFQ’s, SOW’s, drawings to guide solutions and estimates.
• Support Sales in identifying new market opportunities and communicating with customers.
