Job summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer and cost critical power construction projects for facilities. You will guide designs, support construction, and address technical issues while ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance across multiple projects.

Travel is required and you will work with clients, estimators and sales to deliver robust DC power solutions and related documentation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Experience with critical power including DC/AC systems.
• Ability to create, document and present design concepts to customers.
• Familiarity with construction techniques and coordination with architects/engineers.

Responsibilities

• Quote and execute field projects in critical facilities environments.
• Lead design and estimation deliverables with team members.
• Coach estimators, PMs, and sales on technical matters.
• Develop and refine tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage change control and ensure timely project close-out.
