Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer, and cost critical power construction projects for our facilities. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while meeting budget.

Applicants should have a BS in engineering (electrical or mechanical), experience in critical power systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tools.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) from an accredited university.
• Experience in critical power including protected DC power and AC power systems.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgets and engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Quote and execute field projects within critical facilities, guiding design and estimation deliverables.
• Work with project managers and sales to manage budgets and schedules.
• Coach team members in technical matters and drive process improvements.
• Prepare and review post-mortems and ensure compliance with standards.
