Job summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a Project Design Engineer to design, engineer, and cost critical power construction projects. You will guide design efforts, coordinate with clients and vendors, and mentor Estimators and Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires a BS in engineering, knowledge of DC/AC power systems, and experience with construction tools. Travel to sites is expected as needed, and the team supports 24/7 division requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) from an accredited university.
• Experience in critical power including protected DC power and AC power systems.
• Familiarity with construction techniques and able to apply them to design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Quote and execute successful field projects within critical facilities environment including oversight and direction of design and estimation deliverables from team members.
• Coach team members, such as estimators, project managers, and sales, in technical matters.
• Develop and refine tools and processes to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
