The role reports to the Manager, Engineering and supports a hybrid work arrangement with a 9/80 schedule. The candidate will lead design, development, analysis and testing of hardware for military, commercial and NASA vehicles, coordinating with technicians, designers, analysts, and manufacturing/test engineers while managing budgets and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in design, analysis, development and production of precision mechanical hardware.
• Experience with mechanism and component design, development and verification testing.

Responsibilities

• Providing effective project leadership and oversight of technical, cost and schedule performance for programs.
• Serving as a lead engineer and main technical point of contact with the customer.
• Validating conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
• Documenting designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
• Setting the direction for the technical teams; coordinate and support production, assembly, integration and testing teams.
