Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Project Engineer to lead and execute all technical aspects of Military Global Sustainment programs. You will own scope, schedule, risks, and performance while engaging customers on technical goals and future capabilities.

The role requires strong subcontract and requirements management experience, EVMS familiarity, and collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and program management. Hybrid schedule in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical project management experience in aerospace, automotive or test equipment sectors.
• Proven experience in subcontract management, requirements management, and verification/validation methods.
• Strong background in cost, schedule, and scope management; familiarity with EVMS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full program technical aspects, including hardware systems such as Linear Hydraulic Flight Controls and Leading/Trailing Edge High Lift Systems.
• Lead customer technical discussions regarding capabilities, status, and schedule.
• Develop technical requirements documents for onboarding future capabilities.
• Ensure activities are executed within scope and align with program goals.
• Provide technical guidance to Program Management on impacts of project efforts.
• Support program management with technical requirement prioritization and planning.
• Establish and improve program technical workflows, documentation, and reporting.
• Support audits, reviews, and customer program assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to maintain sustainment readiness.
