Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage project plans and coordinate activities from inception to completion. You will support integration initiatives, develop schedules, and facilitate meetings to keep programs aligned with scope, time, and cost constraints.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in project coordination or management, strong Excel skills, and effective cross-functional communication. A BS/BA is preferred; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable.
• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
• 1-3 years of experience in working with cross functional teams.
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required based on experience.
• Project management skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration, supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective.
• Develop new systems; techniques and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking.
• Works with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitors overall health of projects.
• Review plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with the master schedule; resolve scheduling and inter-functional conflicts.
• Participate in or lead daily, weekly or monthly meetings. Review to track and report project status, identifying deviations or adverse trends.
• Tracks and oversees project costs against project budgets.
