Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• Thorough application of accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging.
• Able to educate others to identify risks and reinforce compliance with financial practices.
• Analytical ability to review financial data, interpret trends, and identify inconsistencies.
• Knowledge of cash flow and procedures to optimize profitability.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and discretion to identify problems and take action.
• Capable of managing competing activities and deadlines with precision.
• Shows initiative to innovate and improve operational processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work with minimal direction.
• Proficiency with SAP, Textura and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analytical support and implement financial procedures for projects, including complex contracts and joint ventures.
• Partner with Operations to review project budgets and reflect risks and enhancements per Turner policies.
• Communicate and escalate project risks to senior leadership and supervisors.
• Monitor billing and accounts receivable, address issues, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls for assigned projects.
• Support Operations and Turner Shared Services in project setup and accounts payable for vendors and subcontractors.
• Oversee month-end close, accruals, and cost reporting as appropriate.
• Monitor cash position, assess risks, and implement profitability strategies.
• Oversee project assets and insurance documentation in collaboration with the project team.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and BARs/CABs to validate project outcomes.
• Analyze forecasts and re-forecasts for contract compliance.
• Assist with project closeout and audit requests.
• Attend on-site meetings and participate in budget reviews and forecasting.
• Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff and support cost processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
