Job summary

The role requires GAAP expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate risks to senior leadership while supporting audits and month-end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field and minimum 3 years of experience including project accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and company policies with ability to apply them in practice.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills for various organizational levels.
• Ability to educate others to identify risks and reinforce compliance with financial practices and policies.
• Analytical ability to review financial data, interpret trends, and identify inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis to support project decisions and manage complex contracts and joint ventures.
• Partner with Operations to review budgets and reflect risk and owner contracts accurately.
• Communicate project risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor billing, accounts receivable, and ensure alignment with contract terms and policies.
• Oversee month-end close, cash flow management, and cost reporting (BARs/CABs).
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support audit requests.
