Job summary

Longenecker & Associates, a Geosyntec Company, seeks a principal Project Control Specialist to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC. You will lead project controls and financial planning for highly complex programs, ensuring cost and schedule integrity.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in cost management, scheduling, and DOE-related requirements, with the ability to obtain DOE clearance and work within federal contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with years of practical experience as described.
• U.S. Citizenship required for federal contract work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q clearance.
• Experience with cost/schedule control on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement and maintain total project controls for complex programs.
• Prepare business/financial plans and periodic reports under limited supervision.
• Develop cost/schedule baselines, WBS, spend plans, and resource estimates.
• Provide technical control leadership and guidance across multi-project analyses.
• Support routine cost reviews and change management for engineering work.
• Analyze cost/schedule variances and communicate mitigation plans to management.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management analyses.
