Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC is seeking a Principal Project Controls Specialist to support the Savannah River Site, based in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on organizing and maintaining project controls across complex life-cycle projects, with emphasis on cost control, scheduling and financial analysis.

The candidate should demonstrate extensive experience with cost and schedule baselines, WBS development, and variance analysis, while coordinating with management and subordinates.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.
• Experience with Site Business systems and cost/schedule control at tactical level.
• Strong knowledge of project management, cost control, scheduling and budget processes.
• Active or recent DOE clearance within the past two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement and maintain total project controls for complex projects.
• Prepare business/financial plans and periodic reports under limited supervision.
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, WBS, and spend plans for optimal resource use.
• Lead development of advanced control system concepts and multi-project analysis.
• Provide financial analysis techniques including variance, scenarios and forecasting.
