Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Project Controls team, with preferred siting in Texas, Utah, Tennessee, or Nevada.

This role will build schedules, track costs, support EVM, and ensure data feeds into Power BI dashboards. The candidate should have 7+ years in cost controls and scheduling on major capital projects, experience with PMIS tools (e-Builder, Procore, Primavera P6/MS Project), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in cost controls and scheduling on large-scale capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, and schedule management practices.
• Experience with PMIS platforms such as e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data reporting concepts for data integration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain program/project schedules; monitor contractor and consultant schedules and identify issues.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections; support EVM tracking and reporting.
• Track and control project costs, change management, cost coding, commitments, and accruals.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical path changes, and float; coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve variances.
• Administer cost management/PMIS platforms (e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Produce regular cost and schedule progress reports for the Program Manager and PMO.
• Support integration of cost and schedule data with Power BI dashboards and ensure data accuracy.
