Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Scheduling Analyst to provide analytical schedule support for Project Managers, ensuring adherence to milestones and reporting standards. The role uses Primavera P6, Project View, Hyperion and MS Office to develop baselined schedules, track performance and forecast needs.

The position involves field exposure, on-call support for emergencies, and collaboration across departments to drive on-time delivery while upholding safety and inclusion values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial or Technical Field.
• 4-7 years related experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 6-9 years relevant experience is required.
• Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, Project Diagram or verbal Scope of Work.
• Strong analytical skills and evaluation techniques; experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Asset Suite 8, Primavera P6.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Build reports, earned value metrics and schedules for Centrally Managed work; revise schedules to recover milestones; report earned value, CPI, and SPI indicators.
• Create Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and portfolio views; provide resource loading and utilization; update schedule status weekly, biweekly or monthly.
• Develop and update standard schedule templates; adjust start and finish dates to support project needs.
• Participate in project team meetings including financial forecasting to ensure schedule and cost alignment.
• Interface with other departments; promote diversity, inclusion and a high-performance culture.
• Ensure projects are statused, in service, and closed out in a timely manner; adhere to scheduling procedures.
• Perform workload and union impact analysis; forecast internal/external resource needs.
• Provide 24/7 on-call scheduling support for emergent projects.
• Attend job walk-downs in the field.
