Job summary

Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks an experienced Senior Project Controls Analyst (Master Scheduler) to lead the IMS schedule using Primavera P6. You will coordinate with Project Controls across teams, ensuring integrated, resource-loaded schedules and EVMS compliance.

Responsibilities include overseeing L2/L3 scheduling, enforcing standards, and driving what-if analyses and recovery plans to support project decisions. A DOE environment familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of professional scheduling experience in Primavera P6 on large scale projects.
• Experience supporting large scale complex science projects with multiple systems and subsystems.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting and control.
• Hands-on experience with Earned Value Management System processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software with large data handling.
• Proficiency in project management principles and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Primavera P6 Master Scheduler, developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Provide technical leadership to L2/L3 Project Controls Analysts and ensure scheduling standards.
• Lead schedule integration across partner institutions and interfaces.
• Enforce scheduling standards, calendars, resource rates and quality requirements.
• Ensure integration of P6 with Cobra, SharePoint, and EVMS tools.
• Review and approve significant schedule updates for baselines and status.
• Support decision making with what-if analyses and recovery plans.
• Develop monthly performance reports for management and DOE.
