Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Scheduling Analyst in Oak Brook Terrace, IL to provide analytical schedule support for project managers and directors. You will develop detailed critical path schedules, monitor milestones, and generate reports in Primavera P6, IMS, andAsset Suite 8, ensuring baselined schedules at each phase.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Excel/MS Office, and the ability to work extended hours for storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field and 4–7 years related experience, or 6–9 years in lieu of degree.
• Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, project diagram, or verbal scope of work.
• Strong analytical and evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency with PC software including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Asset Suite 8.
• Primavera P6 is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and drive to resolution.
• Ability to work flexible hours and in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Build reports, earned value metrics, and schedules for Centrally Managed work execution and revise schedules as needed.
• Create IMS and portfolio views with resource loading and utilization for reports.
• Develop standard schedule templates and update scheduling tools to support dynamic needs.
• Participate in project team meetings including financial forecasting for schedule alignment.
• Interface with departments and promote diversity and inclusion within PM/Controls.
• Ensure projects are properly statused, in service, and closed out on schedule across systems.
• Perform workload and union impact analysis for resources.
• Provide 24/7 on-call scheduling support for emergent projects.
• Attend job walkdowns in the field.
