Jerritt Canyon is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead the controls functions for capital, sustaining, and infrastructure projects within a mining operation. You will drive planning, scheduling, cost forecasting, risk management, and reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Working with Restart, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Operations leaders, you will set controls standards, manage governance, and develop capabilities to improve project performance

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
15+ years of progressive experience in project controls.
Experience leading project controls functions for large-scale capital projects.
Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and change management.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Oracle.
PMP, CCP, PSP, AACE, or similar professional certification considered an asset.

Mansioni

Lead and manage all project controls activities across the project portfolio, including planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and change management.
Establish and maintain project controls standards, processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
Provide strategic oversight of integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, resource plans, and operational priorities.
Lead project budgeting, cost forecasting, cash flow planning, and capital expenditure reporting.
Monitor project performance against approved schedules, budgets, and key performance indicators.
Identify project risks, trends, and performance gaps, and develop mitigation and recovery strategies.
Lead earned value management, variance analysis, productivity tracking, and project performance reporting.
Develop and present executive-level project controls reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Oversee project change management processes, including evaluation and approval of schedule, scope, and cost impacts.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of project controls data, reporting, and management systems.
Partner with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to support project execution and decision-making.
Support contract administration, contractor performance management, and commercial evaluations.
Lead project controls personnel, contractors, and consultants, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project controls processes, systems, and project delivery performance.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements, and regulatory standards.
