Job summary

First Majestic Silver Corp-Jerritt Canyon Gold in Nevada seeks a Capital Projects Superintendent to lead field execution of large mining capital projects, from mobilization to commissioning. The role coordinates engineers, operations, and contractors to deliver scope on schedule and to budget.

You will champion safety, environmental compliance, and quality control, and drive interfaces across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve reliable handover and startup readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred; experience considered.
• Experience leading field construction for large mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, cost forecasting, and safety.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field execution of capital projects safely and efficiently.
• Provide construction leadership for mine infrastructure, facilities, and utilities.
• Coordinate activities across contractors, engineering, and operations.
• Manage resources to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Monitor progress, costs, and change orders; communicate risks.
• Ensure commissioning, startup, turnover, and handover readiness.
• Maintain field documentation, safety programs, and environmental compliance.
• Support safety meetings, inspections, and corrective actions.
