Qualifications

• 5+ years in process operations within mining or similar industrial environment.
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in an operations setting.
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with ability to motivate and coach.
• Experience with maintenance management and operational systems.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing operations and plant processes.
• Effective communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and lead process operations crews, ensuring safe practices and standards.
• Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and hold team accountable to safety and production.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to operators to maximize performance.
• Train, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding and cross-training.
• Conduct workshops and inspections; uphold housekeeping and hazard recognition.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the process plant and supervise shutdown prep.
• Collaborate with metallurgical and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain performance records and report outcomes to leadership.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to support work management and reporting.
