KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions seeks a Project Controls Manager in Newark, DE, to lead a team across cost control, scheduling, and risk management for capital projects. The role supports project performance measurement and collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure alignment with processes and client requirements.

Requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 10+ years of EPC project controls experience, with strong EVA, cost forecasting, and P6 scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of EPC project controls experience in energy, chemicals, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of FEL and detailed engineering phases.
• Proficiency with earned value management, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with P6 scheduling and interactive planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project controls professionals and mentor junior staff.
• Direct cost control, scheduling, change and risk management, and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align controls.
• Evaluate project performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and client requirements.
• Review contracts and align controls with project commercial needs.
• Conduct readiness reviews, quality audits, and planning sessions.
