Job summary

Amentum is seeking a strategic Senior Project Controls Manager to standardize project controls across a secure, high-impact portfolio for CONUS and OCONUS initiatives. You will own planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change control for multiple concurrent projects in highly secure environments.

Key responsibilities include portfolio oversight, integrated scheduling, cost controls, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance (Secret) required; TS/SCI preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or related business field.
• 10+ years of professional project controls experience in secure/classified environments.
• 5+ years of direct experience leading project controls teams.
• Strong Primavera P6 and MS Project proficiency.
• Deep DoD/IC contracting and government program experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead program controls and portfolio oversight across diverse projects.
• Manage integrated scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change management.
• Monitor portfolio progress against baselines and drive corrective actions.
• Develop baselines, perform schedule analysis, and manage change control.
• Design robust cost controls, forecasts, and resource optimization.
• Lead and mentor project controls teams; communicate with stakeholders; provide executive dashboards.
