Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule, forecasting, change, and risk management on complex, fast-paced capital projects. You will mentor a team of cost and scheduling professionals, set controls strategy, and partner with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include baseline ownership, robust forecasting, EVM, change management, and integrated scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years progressive project controls on heavy civil, industrial, hyperscale data center, or semiconductor projects.
• 3+ years leading a project controls team.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost engineering, cost estimating, cost control/analysis, scheduling, and reporting.
• Own baselines: cost baseline, schedule baseline, change control processes.
• Develop & present robust forecasts, cash flow, and staffing plans.
• Establish and maintain EVM (CPI/SPI) and performance management.
• Chair change control and manage risk, mitigation, and documentation.
• Oversee risk workshops, risk register, qualitative/quantitative analyses.
• Develop Class 3-5 estimates and validate scope and contingencies.
• Direct resource-loaded schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) and critical path analyses.
• Support commercial terms, negotiations, and claims with data-driven substantiation.
• Produce monthly governance reports and KPIs; ensure adherence to procedures.
