Job summary

Amentum is seeking a CONUS Project Control Specialist to manage program-level plans, IMS maintenance, and schedule coordination under the Navy PAe MARITIME FOTS contract. You will work with PMT and stakeholders to ensure milestones, dependencies, and resources are aligned, with emphasis on schedule health and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates have strong planning, scheduling, and communication skills, plus the ability to travel and obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• 3 years of planning, scheduling, or program support experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to communicate schedule status and risks in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including logic, milestones, and critical path.
• Develop and maintain program-level schedules integrating maintenance, availability, materials, and logistics.
• Provide long-range planning and forecasting to identify future requirements and conflicts.
• Coordinate schedule inputs with PMT, Industrial Manager, OEMs, SMEs, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Contracts.
• Analyze planned vs actual performance and forecast completion dates and risks.
• Identify schedule risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Develop recovery schedules when maintenance is delayed due to constraints.
• Evaluate impacts of availability changes and shortages on major milestones.
• Support workload forecasting and resource needs.
• Provide schedule data for reviews, leadership briefings, and customer meetings.
• Maintain schedule documentation and planning inputs per document control.
• Support scenario planning for alternative sequences and recovery options.
• Attend program syncs and planning meetings to manage schedule risks.
