Job summary

Blattner Company, a leading renewable energy contractor based in Avon, Minnesota, is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation. This role provides enterprise‑level project controls governance, CPM scheduling, and cost/risk analytics to enable 3–12 month forecasting and margin protection.

You will lead cross‑unit modernization of tools and processes, mentor teams, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of dashboards, S‑curves, and variance analyses across a growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years progressive experience in project controls, including scheduling, cost, or risk analysis.
• Proven leadership of senior contributors and remote/in-office teams.
• Strong ability to develop employees for growth opportunities.
• Delivers disciplined forecasting and cost management with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls teams and third-party consultants, with performance evaluations and mentorship.
• Develop, control, and analyze CPM schedules; conduct risk analyses and change management.
• Manage workload to ensure timely delivery of schedules, cost forecasts, risk data, dashboards, and analyses.
• Conduct strategic analysis of project data to drive decisions and provide concise recommendations.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and align controls with commercial terms.
• Lead governance and modernization of tools, data, and processes across units.
