Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting for its nationwide project portfolio. This role partners with Finance, Operations, Contracts, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure cost and schedule visibility and profitability.

You will establish standard controls, drive continuous improvement, and mentor the project management teams across the Relay & Power division. Strong analytics, ERP, and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in project controls or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, construction management, business management, or related field required.
• Advanced Excel and project accounting knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems, PM software, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across the project portfolio.
• Ensure accurate tracking of budget, variance, earned value, and schedule performance.
• Develop and maintain standard project controls reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Contracts, Procurement, and Leadership.
• Coach Project Managers on baseline scheduling and recovery plans.
• Improve project setup, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change-control processes.
