Job summary

The Kendall Group in Conshohocken, PA seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across the company’s project portfolio. You will partner with Project Management, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Engineering to ensure earned value, change control, and risk management are integrated into delivery.

You will establish standardized project controls processes, develop dashboards and KPIs, and mentor project teams while coordinating ERP, CRM, and BI

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cost controls, scheduling, forecasting, and EVM.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, engineering, construction management, business management, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, cost codes, forecasts, commitments, and EAC projections.
• Review financial performance, variance, and margin erosion across projects.
• Prepare monthly project reviews and variance explanations for leadership.
• Coordinate with Finance to align ERP data, invoicing, and accruals.
• Develop standard project controls reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Oversee schedule development, baseline updates, and milestone tracking.
• Forecast labor, resource loading, and capacity planning.
• Track change orders, claims, and commercial impact with teams.
