Job summary

The Kendall Group, a leading multi‑divisional distributor, is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting across a diverse project portfolio. You will partner with Project Management, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Leadership to improve visibility, controls, and decision‑making.

This role requires deep experience in EVMS, cost control, and ERP integration, and offers the opportunity to influence strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, engineering, construction management, business management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project controls or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management and scheduling principles
• Experience with ERP systems, project management software, scheduling tools, and BI platforms
• Ability to translate portfolio data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple projects
• Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance against baselines
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial summaries and forecasts for leadership
• Maintain standardized project controls processes and reporting
• Develop dashboards and reports using ERP data, BI tools, and scheduling systems
• Train project managers and leaders on project controls tools and best practices
