Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. This role involves developing and maintaining complex schedule and cost baselines, analyzing monthly data, and producing risk-adjusted forecasts for stakeholders.

You will work with project delivery teams to ensure compliance with procedures, perform earned value management, and provide guidance to junior staff while collaborating with management on resource planning and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and analyzes time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Performs Earned Value Management and prepares financial reports.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
