Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Project Controller to support the Minneapolis, MN architecture and engineering practice. The role can be remote, hybrid, or on site per candidate preference.

You will manage project budgets, forecasts, and invoicing for a broad portfolio across multiple sectors within US West Buildings + Places. The position emphasizes leading the project controls function, coordinating with PMs, procurement, and finance, and ensuring adherence to contracts and schedules.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 4 years of related experience in project controls or equivalent
• US Citizenship is required for this role
• Preferred: 8+ years of project controls in engineering/construction management
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling methods, and earned value

Responsibilities

• Detail-oriented, efficient and organized; prioritize multiple project demands
• Lead project controls on multiple projects and PMs
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts based on earned value and progress
• Review client contracts and subcontracts for scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• Coordinate with procurement on purchase orders and subcontracts
• Monitor KPIs including earned value, cost, schedule and EAC
• Assist Project Managers with Salesforce entries and updates
• Liaise with subcontractors on progress, schedules, and contract administration
