Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Controller to support the Minneapolis, MN architecture and engineering practice. The role offers full flexibility to work remote, hybrid, or on site, with a strong emphasis on budget control and earned value management across a broad portfolio of projects.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS plus 4 years in project controls and will demonstrate advanced Excel skills, effective communication, and leadership on multiple projects. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 4 years of related experience in project controls.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for this role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with teams.
• Ability to lead the project controls function on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Reviews performance trends, prepares analysis and cost impact and monthly project performance reports.
• Prepare regular cost reports including actual and committed costs against budgets.
• Establish project budgets from proposal estimates and assist with project setup.
• Coordinate to develop effective Work Breakdown Structures.
• Communicate budget, cost and schedule analyses to PMs and project leaders.
• Lead meetings with internal project teams and finance.
