CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, identify variances, and support financial controls and forecasting.

You will work with project teams, manage Earned Value data, prepare client and internal status reports, and mentor junior staff. Domestic and international travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting and control processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Familiarity with government/federal regulations and compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to plan and manage complex construction projects.

Responsabilités

• Develops time-phased cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Monitors progress and prepares performance reports using EVM.
• Supports implementation of financial controls, procedures and forecasting techniques.
• Mentors junior staff; may supervise junior engineers on project work.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
