Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain time-phased schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, and produce reports for stakeholders while ensuring compliance with internal and client requirements.

You will work with project teams, manage EVM processes, analyze variances, and help implement forecasting techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Experience developing and maintaining schedule and cost baselines; familiarity with Earned Value Management and forecasting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and schedule baselines and maintain them.
• Collect and analyze monthly schedule and cost data; identify variances and support root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and communicate performance reports to stakeholders; ensure adherence to internal procedures and client requirements.
• Support implementation of financial controls, systems, and forecasting techniques across projects.
