Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining complex schedule and cost baselines, collecting monthly data, identifying variances, and implementing financial controls across projects.

You will work with project teams and management to ensure accurate forecasting, risk management, and reporting using EVM, Primavera P6, and EcoSys in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years related experience preferred.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency varies by project.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Generates earned value reports and conducts variance analyses.
• Performs project cost forecasts, analyzes data, and supports risk and profit/loss analyses.
• Mentors junior staff and provides guidance across project controls teams.
