Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across multiple locations in the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, analyze data, and integrate risk reserves into forecasts while collaborating with project teams.

This role requires EVM expertise, Primavera P6 and EcoSys proficiency, and the ability to communicate findings through management reports; travel may be required to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of project management and budgeting, planning, control, and finance concepts.
• Strong understanding of project goals, drivers, risks and opportunities and related finance concepts.
• Ability to independently plan and manage detailed execution of construction projects with schedules and resources.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 for integrated schedules.
• Proficient in Project Performance tools such as EcoSys.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate costs and update requirements.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports; discuss observations with project managers.
• Manage portfolios and projects on an international scale.
• Develop and maintain schedules; raise early warning signals and adjust resources.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
