Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across various locations in the U.S. You will develop and maintain schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, and produce reports for stakeholders, ensuring risk reserves are integrated into forecasts.

You will collaborate with project teams, manage earned value reporting, and apply Primavera P6 and EcoSys tools. Travel 20%–40% is expected, with a focus on international projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and international travel may be required, varying by project demands.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains integrated critical path schedules for major projects and portfolios.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and forecasts for programs.
• Performs variance, risk and cost analyses and maintains cost baselines.
• Collaborates with project teams and management to implement financial controls and forecasting techniques.
• Mentors junior staff and provides guidance on project controls best practices.
