Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the United States. You will develop, maintain and analyze schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, identify variances and assist in root-cause analysis.

The role requires managing complex budgets, applying Earned Value Management, and communicating findings through reports to stakeholders while ensuring compliance and supporting project teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and analyzes integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses findings with the project manager.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Ensures compliance with federal/government regulations and internal procedures.
