Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across various locations. You will develop moderately to highly complex schedule and cost baselines and analyze monthly data to identify variances and drive corrective actions.

You will ensure risk reserves are integrated into forecasts, support financial controls and forecasting techniques, and collaborate with project teams and management while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Extensive Earned Value Management (EVM) experience preferred.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with internal procedures such as federal/government regulations.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses observations with project managers.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff.
• Performs other duties as required.
