Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Sr Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment across several U.S. locations. The role emphasizes cost management, forecasting, and EVM with a strong emphasis on collaboration with construction teams and vendors.

This senior-level position requires extensive project controls experience, including EVMS, and travel to on-site assignments. You will work within a dedicated project controls team supporting complex projects and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls with cost management focus.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements, including budget development, scope change tracking, and expenditure reporting.
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managers.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications in line with contracts.
• Track and report construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.
