Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment with future on-site work across the U.S. The role focuses on cost control, progress tracking, and collaboration with construction teams and vendors.

You will lead cost forecasting, data integrity in cost control systems, and EVMS reporting, while ensuring contractual compliance and effective action plans. Travel is required and benefits include comprehensive health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls with focus on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay applications.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budget development, scope changes, expenditure and forecast reporting.
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and advise corrective actions to project and construction managers.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications per contractual terms.
• Track and report construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data.
