Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a strategic Project Controls Leader to govern cost and schedule functions for major projects. You will mentor a team of specialists, align budgets with milestones, and provide executive-level visibility into project health while driving risk mitigation and data precision.

The role requires strong negotiation skills with contractors, robust analytical abilities, and the ability to present complex data to executives under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and executive-level presentations.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to oversee complex project timelines.
• Ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights and concise executive summaries.
• Understanding of diverse construction contracting models and their impact on project cost management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and quality oversight of cost and scheduling reports across the team.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contract, compliance, and construction management to align milestones with budget.
• Establish and enforce project controls procedures, reporting templates, and KPIs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the project budget and cost tracking.
• Validate schedules to ensure alignment between field execution and forecasts.
• Identify schedule and cost risks and develop mitigation actions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for executive reviews and contractor alignment meetings.
