Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a seasoned Project Controls leader to drive cost and schedule control for complex capital projects. You will mentor a team of specialists, align milestones with budgets, and deliver accurate executive-level reporting on project health.

The role requires negotiating with contractors, maintaining high data quality, and presenting clear risk analyses to executives. It is a full-time, on-site leadership position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive proficiency with MS Office for reporting, documentation and executive presentations.
• Strong schedule management skills with experience in large projects.
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable executive summaries.
• Clear and effective communication with stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and quality oversight of cost and scheduling staff.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contract, compliance, and construction teams to align milestones with budget.
• Establish and enforce project controls procedures, templates, and KPIs across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budget development, cost allocation, and expenditure tracking.
• Validate schedules to ensure alignment between field execution and forecasting.
• Identify schedule and cost risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Serve as primary point of contact during executive reviews and contractor alignment meetings.
