Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead and execute critical projects supporting operations and IWT improvements. You will manage the site Consultant Design Team to develop and approve mechanical specifications for process systems and oversee construction activities.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering related to chemical, mechanical, or industrial fields.
• Minimum 4 years chemical/mechanical design and project experience in an industrial setting.
• 7+ years of engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope across Samsung water systems from inception to execution.
• Lead planning for mechanical systems for new and retrofit construction.
• Develop, review, and approve site construction specifications for piping, equipment, and buildings.
• Interface with operations, maintenance, engineering, and EHS to ensure codes and safety.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and manage site observations and punch lists.
