Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Manager, Project Controls (Cost) to oversee cost management across multiple projects within a defined program. The role balances hands-on technical leadership with team oversight and active client-facing accountability.

You will act as an escalation point for complex controls issues, provide QA/QC review of forecasts and schedules, and lead client meetings related to project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Master's degree preferred; Certification preferred.
• Ten or more years of related experience with 2+ years of management experience.
• Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
• Advanced project controls skills.
• Expertise in client relations, management and consulting.
• Experience in construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related field.
• Exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.
• Experience using cost and schedule management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management across multiple projects.
• Act as escalation point for complex controls issues.
• Provide QA/QC review of forecasts, schedules, and reporting.
• Lead client meetings related to project controls.
• Manage and mentor Senior Project Controls staff.
• Support resourcing and staffing decisions.
• Coordinate and integrate all third-party plans and cost components into a comprehensive cost plan.
