Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Manager to provide complex controls management and cost analytics across assigned projects.

You will oversee cost forecasting, budgeting, expenditures, and contingency management, ensuring accurate financial data across PMIS systems for senior management. The role requires guiding project teams, developing cost projection models, and coordinating monthly financial reviews.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office including Power BI.
• Experience with a project management information system (PMIS) and workflow/module enhancements preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, detail orientation, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, analyze, forecast, and report project budgets, ETC, commitments, expenditures and cash flow.
• Review expenditures for accuracy and propose corrections to keep financials accurate.
• Forecast and model trends; evaluate change orders for impact on contingencies and forecasts.
• Set up projects and report estimates at completion and cash flow based on input from project leads.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations across financial systems and PMIS.
• Provide guidance on PMIS and support client PM procedures.
• Lead monthly financial review meetings with Project Managers.
• Oversee portfolio financial reporting and status of funding and expenditures.
