Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead and execute budget, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting for a major program. The role requires directing a team across cost controls, scheduling, IT/PMIS, and reporting while partnering with operations and client teams.

The position supports a hybrid work model with travel to client sites and offices, ideally based in the Midwest with flexibility for Western states.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of progressive project controls experience on large projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, or Construction Management.
• Experience with cost engineering functions: cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, and variance analysis.
• Experience building Primavera P6 cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.
• Ability to present clear, concise presentations to management.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for Operations, Project Managers, Project Director, and client for Project Controls.
• Ensure alignment between project services, design, and construction teams.
• Manage the project budget through approved scope changes.
• Develop and maintain a master schedule using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, cost, and schedule variances and forecasts.
• Provide status reports and escalation when needed.
• Lead a team of project controls professionals across departments.
