Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support U.S. projects with focus on schedule and cost baselines. You will collect, analyze, and report on schedule variance, resource needs, and project accruals while maintaining risk reserves.

You will implement financial controls, forecast techniques, and Earned Value Management across a portfolio, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with project teams and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of related project controls experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for federal contracts.
• Experience with Earned Value Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports.
• Maintains integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Provides technical guidance to junior staff and mentors them.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
