Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the United States. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analysis while maintaining risk reserves in forecasts.

You will generate earned value reports, perform financial analyses, and provide guidance to project teams. Travel may be required; strong collaboration and compliance with federal regulations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and large-scale budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as needed.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and performs portfolio analysis for On Time Delivery and risk forecasts.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff on project controls and scheduling.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and federal/government regulations; manages data from project teams.
• Develops integrated critical path schedules and monitors progress against baselines.
