The Osborn Engineering Company seeks a Senior Project Manager and Client Manager to lead multi-discipline projects in the Florida and Great Lakes regions. You will work closely with directors, managers, and staff to exceed client expectations, manage design processes, and drive business development within a leading employee-owned firm.

With 15+ years of PM experience, you will coordinate proposals, contracts, and design deliverables, while overseeing QAQC and client relations.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Project Management experience in Consulting Engineering.
  • Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.
  • Knowledge of standard construction practices and ability to work with contractors.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project and Client management of multi-discipline projects within the Florida, Great Lakes Facility, and Structural Divisions.
  • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts, including Add Service Agreements.
  • Work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan.
  • Supervise staff and where applicable self-perform design of new building structures and renovations.
  • Complete monthly financial performance metrics of projects managed including hours to complete requirements.
  • Manage the preparation of design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents.
  • Facilitate coordination of Architectural and Engineering drawings and attend coordination meetings.
  • Manage client expectations, project deliverables and deadlines with the project team.
  • Manage the QAQC process and conformance with Osborn Quality control program.
  • Attend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals as projects require.
  • Conduct business development activities and assist with presentations.
  • Collaborate with Division Leadership and Business Development to build and manage clients.

The successful candidate will have 15 plus years' experience in the planning, design, development, and construction phases of a variety of project types. The person in this position will work closely with the directors, managers, and engineering staff to ensure that our client's needs and expectations are exceeded. Osborn is a fully integrated multi-disciplined design firm that uses a specialized team approach to engineering projects. These teams are comprised of a staff of 390 plus professionals that provide designs for all phases of a wide range of projects. Osborn has specialists in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, technology engineering, transportation and commissioning. Position Responsibilities

  • Manage client expectations, project deliverables and project deadlines in conjunctions with the project team.
  • Manage the QAQC process and conformance with the Osborn Quality control program.
  • Attend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals as projects require.
  • Conduct business development activities, participating in various trade organizations, and preparing or assisting with presentations.
  • Work with Division Leadership and the corporate Business Development team to successfully build, develop, and manage clients.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
  • 15 plus years of Project Management in Consulting Engineering.
  • Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.
  • Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.
  • Experience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.
  • Self-starter, motivated to assist towards successful Business Development and Client Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred.
  • PE License Preferred.

Salary

Salary Range: $127,000 - $157,000

Posted salary ranges reflect market-based averages for the role. Final compensation will be determined based on each candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
